If that does not happen, you can manually download it at these links: PS4, Xbox One, PC. If the player does not have A Way Out already, the invite will instruct them to download the free trial version of the game.Select the friend you'd like to play with and the invite will be sent.

When one player has purchased the full version of A Way Out, they can invite players to join a session by selecting 'Play Online' and pressing the designated button to invite a friend.

This guide shows you how to use Friend Pass across PS4, Xbox One and PC. In addition to standard couch co-op, the Friend Pass lets duos play the entire game online as well. A Way Out is a co-op only experience, but the game's developers at Hazelight Studios are letting friends get in on the action for free.
